Younger Years Dance Programme

DN Ducklings

Our Younger Years Dance Programme offers a platform for all budding performers from age 3 years to P1. It includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Acro and Musical Theatre all with the support of our much loved mascot Della Duck! Opportunities include a bi-annual Ducklings Showcase & Class Awards, before flying the nest and graduating into our Junior & Upper School. 

Focus is on developing elementary skills in technique, vocabulary and choreography across the different dance and theatre genres. Students benefit from the different skills picked up in each style and the variety is perfect for the shorter attention span of children in this age group.

Ballet & Tap

Dancin’ Ducklings

Ballet & tap are both foundational styles of classical dance and the building blocks for most other dance styles.

Highland

Flingin’ Flyers

This traditional style is much loved by little ones. Often blended into our Ballet & Tap class it gives dancers the opportunity to experience variety.

Modern & Contemporary

Leapin’ Lambs

These styles are a great addition to the start of your child’s dance journey. Often blended with Ballet & Tap or adjacent on the timetable.

Rockin’ Rams

Bringing style, strength and sass to our programme!  Our Rockin Ram classes are fun and high energy. Supported by our mascot Ralphie Ram.

Dance Acro

Rollin’ Rams

Acro is about introducing acrobatic elements into a dance context. This class is best taken alongside the modern, jazz & contemporary class.

Theatre combines singing, acting and dance into one fun filled class. Perfect for little performers who want to use their voices too.
