Ballet Dance Classes

perform with precision & grace

Why take ballet dance classes?

Classical ballet is the foundation from which nearly all dance styles have developed and it has a big influence on all the training we offer at DN Dance.

Ballet requires strong technique, athleticism, poise, balance and precision. It demands an almost invisible strength, where physically challenging moves and sequences are made to look effortless and graceful.

Taking ballet class will improve your abilities in almost every other style of dance you take. Not to mention, it’s a great  way to keep fit and stay physically and mentally healthy.

We teach both the RAD Ballet and ISTD Ballet Syllabuses, along with Pointe and other classes that support the development of strong ballet technique.

ISTD Ballet

Pre-Primary to Intermediate

For students aged 5+ we run dedicated ballet classes following the ISTD syllabus from pre-primary right up to intermediate.

The Pre-Primary grade starts around P1 age and Intermediate reaches college vocational level. Progression through the grades is based more on ability than age.
