The inspiration and drive at the heart of everything we do, Miss Nicky is the fabulous founder and principle of DN Dance. After 7 years performing as a professional dancer, Nicky settled in Edinburgh and opened the doors to her first ever class back in 2010. Now, surrounded by an amazing team, super talented students, and supportive parents, Nicky is more motivated than ever to continue this wonderful journey  with her #DNDanceFamily.

Nicky’s self-appointed work-wife, our super talented tapper Miss Chanelle brings fun and friendliness to every class. Chanelle joined DN Dance in early 2014, soon becoming owner and Principal of our very first franchise, Edinburgh Crewe Branch. New a huge part of the core team, Chanelle oversees the progression of all students throughout the school, incorporate exams and awards as well as supporting those moving on to vocational college.

Miss Bev’s 10 years performing as a professional dancer on the world’s biggest cruise lines means she has bags of experience. Her friendly, enthusiastic and super fun nature make her classes really popular. We are very lucky to have her!

The lovely Amy with a brilliant bright smile brings infectious warmth and enthusiasm to her classes. Amy is Head of our Younger Yrs Dance Programme & DN dance parties as well as a key member of our  DN Dance Babies team.

Miss Megan became the effervescent face of our studio back in 2017 and is a wonderful teacher who just loves to see students derive real joy from their classes. Students sprint into the studio to see Miss Megan, her Dance Acro classes are a huge hit!

Miss Zoe specialises in street and hip hop, and is an excellent tap dancer too. Zoe has a super laidback and calm demeanor and is great with kids of all ages. Catch her in birthday parties too.

Miss Lorna is our specialist commercial teacher. Commercial is a style synonymous with music videos and live music concerts. Lorna has danced at major events including the Brit Awards, and for some stars including: Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Emeli Sande & Mark Ronson.

A smile that could light up any studio. Miss Alex has an amazing ability to capture the attention of every child, draw them in and spread her infectious love of music and dance to the next generation. You can also book Miss Alex for a birthday party.

What would we do without Caroline! As well as looking after all our DN babies and theatre enquiries, Caroline takes care of the studio shop and the day to day administration and keeps the whole place ticking. Caroline doing what she does, means the rest of the DN team can focus on what they does best, the teaching.

Nicky’s husband and partner in crime, Lindsay has joined the DN Dance Family as a full-time team member in December 2019. Lindsay does the stuff in the background, ensuring things run smoothly so the teachers can focus on being teachers!
