About DN Studios

DN Studios is a brand-new dance and performing arts studio located at South Gyle Cresent in Edinburgh. The doors officially open in January 2022, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our exciting new facility.

The new premise contains 3 large studios, reception, indoor waiting area, dance wear shop, separate male and female changing, disabled access toilet and baby change facilities. We are proud to be able to offer a space where students and families can feel at home as well as experience state of the art dance facilities.

Early Years Dance Programme

Upper School  |  Boys Classes  |  Adult Classes

The DN Ducklings Early Years Dance Programme is tailored for kids from Preschool age 3 to Primary 1. Each class combines multiple dance styles which provides varied and exciting content that is perfect for stimulating shorter concentration spans of young minds. Our fun loving mascot Della Duck makes appearances at events and occasionally comes to meet the students at class to check out their new moves!

Upper School

Primary 3 – Age 17

Our Upper School operates classes for kids from Primary 2 right up to 17 years. From this age, classes are generally taken in individual disciplines as students work towards grades and class awards in each discipline.

Adult Classes

Ages 18+ and 50+

Our popular adult classes now have the venue they deserve. We’re so excited to bring our adult classes to DN Studios South Gyle where adult dancers will beneift most for the extra space and height of the studios.

Boyz Dance

Age 8 years +

With the extra timetable space we’re delighted to include classes specifically for boys. Dance is a heavily female dominated activity, so these classes give boys the opportunity to participate in dance with their peers, without feeling out numbers or out of place.
