Beverley first learned to dance aged just 3 in her home city of York. With a love of dance firmly established, she went on to study RAD Ballet and IDTA in Modern, Tap and Jazz. On leaving school, Beverley furthered her dance training by attending Phil Winston's TheatreWorks College in Blackpool, where she studied as a professional dancer developing styles and skills such as commercial, street dance and partner work.
After graduating, Bev went straight into a summer season in Blackpool's Winter Gardens and was fortunate enough to then work for three different cruise lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Costa and Princess Cruises. Her career was focused in this area for over 10 years, and gave her a wealth of experience performing in many different shows, using a wide range of dance styles.
After returning to land, Bev’s career developed further, and included TV experience when she was featured in an ITV documentary about cruise Crew members. She also worked as a film extra in London and was selected to perform in the open ceremony of the London Aquatics Centre - one of the iconic venues for London 2012.
Bev has now decided to settle in Edinburgh to pass on her experience to the City's upcoming young dancers. She is so passionate about dance and is excited to her knowledge and enthusiasm with all of our students at Dynam-nic Dance
